Baker charges £1 per word for ‘AI slop’ after 784-word cake brief

What happened
A three-person cake business in London and Surrey received a 784-word, AI-written WhatsApp brief for a £100 birthday cake to serve 10 people. Its owner now asks anyone sending an AI-generated brief to budget at least £1 per word, and won't reply to essay-length requests until customers give a postcode, date, budget and number of portions.
