Banjo-Kazooie PC port ‘decomp’ developer says AI-generated PC ports are ‘a race to the bottom’ and ‘disrespectful’

What happened
Fans spent years turning the Nintendo 64 game Banjo-Kazooie back into readable code by hand so it could run properly on a PC. The developer who led that port says a new port of the sequel was made by pointing AI at his team's tools, and he wants everyone to know his team had nothing to do with it.
