University professor refuses to grade homework as students keep using AI

A UC Berkeley math professor and Fields Medal winner now grades homework only on whether it is handed in on time, because he says students' AI use makes checking for correct answers pointless. When he asked ChatGPT what to do about it, he says it didn't know either.
