Two years since its release, Microsoft is killing off Outlook's Themes by Copilot feature
“people won't pay a monthly fee to get AI-generated themes for their email client”
What happened
Microsoft is retiring Themes by Copilot, a feature launched in November 2024 that let paying Copilot users have AI generate a colour theme for their Outlook inbox. Anyone still using one can keep it until they switch to a different theme, at which point it is gone for good.
