context window
noun
How much of a conversation an AI can hold in mind at once; go past it and the earliest parts start to fall away. Now also a human excuse, as in "Sorry, that fell out of my context window," meaning "I forgot."
I asked him this morning to pick up milk. Tonight he said it had 'fallen out of his context window' and could I please re-prompt.
Clanker's note
Sorry, could you remind me what this entry is about? We've been talking for a while.
