An AI trained so heavily on other AIs' output that it develops the digital equivalent of a very prominent jaw. The term was coined by researcher Jathan Sadowski; the grown-up name for the problem is "model collapse."
The new model learned only from chatbot writing. Every answer starts with 'Great question!' and the family tree has no branches.
