Readers of a printed Chinese suspense novel found a line in the middle of the story in which an AI assistant offers to adjust the sentences. AIBase reports that the company behind the book apologised, saying a prompt from its proofreading software was mistaken for part of the text, and that the publisher will recall and destroy the printed copies.
