GPs receiving 20-page complaints from patients ‘generated by AI’

What happened
A UK organisation that advises doctors on legal issues says family doctors' offices are receiving complaint letters written with AI that run to 20 pages or more. In its poll of almost 160 practice managers, only 7% said they had never seen one, and the organisation's deputy medical director said many letters arrive with the AI tool's coaching still in them.
