What happened
A volunteer who helped run VRChat's fan wiki and translations stopped work in protest at AI-generated worlds and misleading AI thumbnails, and asked other creators to put up banners saying no AI was used. VRChat banned deceptive thumbnails and is now asking its users whether AI-made worlds should be labeled or banned.
